MACHINE KNITTING plus...

This website is for machine knitters, hand knitters & crocheters who have arrived here looking for patterns & pattern books...

and then some ...

YOU  DON’T NEED TO BE AN EXPERT TO ENJOY MACHINE KNITTING & YOU DON’T NEED TO OWN ALL THE BEST DESIGN SOFTWARE WHICH COSTS THE VERY EARTH (although it helps!)

Machine Knitting should be FUN. Don’t panic... just do it! We all have bins filled with knotted stuff we can’t be bothered to unravel. We all screw it up. Only the experts never go wrong and nobody wants what they knit anyway.

All crafts & their machines continually go in and out of fashion & machine knitting is no different.  Here you will find a selection of publications which have been preserved as PDF files for all to enjoy which you can add to your collection by buying them on cd or by downloading them from the web pages PLUS I have finally got Designaknit 7 Pro - which means I am steadily going through some of the pattern books to convert the motif patterns.

Please follow the page links to find the Brother instruction manuals, lots of fashion pattern books, my own designs and download the Metric Conversion Chart & Mylar sheet for making your own designs.

This is my next favourite subject, my beloved cat, Roger, who is my dearest friend & my inspiration for life - as well as the inspiration for my cat motifs. He goes everywhere with me - in the web pages & as a screensaver on the computer. Even though he died in March 2006, he can still be heard & felt around the house. I miss him.
